Discover the Children’s House Difference
Building Bright Minds
Our program goes beyond conventional methods, providing a transformative experience that nurtures each child. Rooted in the principles of Dr. Montessori, we embrace innovative learning methods and collaborative projects to lay the groundwork for a well-rounded education. Centered on the child’s innate ability to learn and explore, guides our approach. Through this, we not only impart knowledge but also ignite a lifelong passion for learning, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for education in each individual.
The Signficance of Multi-Age Classrooms
In environments where children span a three-year age range, a unique dynamic unfolds. Younger children observe and learn from their slightly older peers, fostering curiosity and a natural progression of skills. Simultaneously, older children take on mentorship roles, reinforcing their own mastery and self-esteem. This intentional arrangement mirrors real-world dynamics, preparing students to navigate a diverse and varied society where collaboration, empathy, and understanding thrive.
Crafting a Foundation for Success
By emphasizing emotional, physical, intellectual, and social development, our program ensures that each child is well-prepared for a lifetime of achievements. The deliberate inclusion of a low child-to-teacher ratio, a kindness curriculum, and a focus on essential values such as grace and empathy creates an environment where children not only thrive academically but also develop crucial life skills, setting the stage for long-term success.
Nurturing Independent Thinkers
Our classrooms are designed to empower children, harnessing their natural curiosity through hands-on, didactic materials. By actively choosing activities across a diverse curriculum, children become confident, self-directed learners. This intentional approach not only cultivates academic excellence but also instills a sense of autonomy and curiosity, creating individuals who approach challenges with resilience and innovative thinking.
Pre-Primary (Ages 2.5-4)
In tune with Maria Montessori’s profound insights into a child’s earliest years, our Pre-Primary classrooms are thoughtfully crafted to create a rich and organized environment, fostering exploration and hands-on learning for children aged 2.5 to 4. We prioritize independence, social awareness, and motor skill development to lay a strong foundation for their educational journey.
Primary (Ages 3-6)
Our Primary Program, spanning ages 3 to 6, is a transformative journey fostering individual progress and holistic development. Embracing a multi-age structure, our classrooms create a dynamic, collaborative environment where younger students benefit from mentors, and older ones thrive in leadership roles, ensuring a tailored and inclusive learning experience.
Kindergarten (Ages 6-7)
At our Kindergarten level, children transition into a period of advanced Montessori materials and captivating lessons, setting the stage for the apex of their Early Childhood program. Here, students not only witness the permanence of the knowledge they’ve acquired in the Pre-Primary and Primary program, but also actively engage in shaping their personal growth journey for the future.
Elementary (Ages 6-12)
Entering the Elementary phase, students carry forward the essence of independence, curiosity, and a passion for learning fostered in their earlier years. This phase signifies a continued commitment to personalized learning and the holistic development of each child, ensuring they evolve as critical thinkers and compassionate individuals.
